Dragon Touch X10 Mini HDMI Tablet PC Review

Dragon Touch X10 tablet has very impressive specs for the amount you'll pay for it. It sells for a fraction of the amount you'll expect to pay for some of the better known brands. When comparing this model to similar tablets with lesser known brand names, it stands above in two particular areas- screen size and screen resolution. Most of the other lesser known brands in this price range are going to be at least half an inch less in size and will have resolutions below 720p. The resolution of this tablet is over 720p.

The tablet's 2.0ghz processor speed is amazing and makes apps run fluidly. The 1 Gig of memory let's you switch between apps almost simultaneously. I've heard some reviews that claim the sound is subpar, but I haven't had any complaints. It was turned up a bit out of the box though, so I turned it down a single dial.

A pleasant surprise that came with this tablet was a free screen protector. This current model of the X10 has the screen protector pre-installed. So, if you feel uncomfortable with putting a protector on for yourself, there's no reason to worry. There has been one problem, however, occurring with some of the pre-installed protectors. Some of them have bubbles noticeable on the black edges (mine included this). You don't have to keep the protector on though, and you can always replace it if the bubbles annoy you. Keep in mind the tablet technically has two protectors included-one meant for protection and shipping/storage which includes directions, and the actual pre-installed protector which can be mistaken for part of the screen itself if you don't look at it close enough. The protector with directions includes a sticker making it easy to peel off, but, the pre-installed one does not.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with my new Dragon Touch X10, and would definitely recommend it. There are similar options out there in this price range with more internal storage space, but, this can easily be rectified by inserting a micro sd card into the tablet for additional storage. In my opinion, the processor speed coupled with the size of the tablet make it the best in the field for this price range.
